Everyone bangs on about this for weight loss...
Losing a pound per week!
Which is roughly equal to 3,500 calories, which means a daily calorie deficit of 500.
BUT!
If you are a complete beginner to this strange new world of weight loss…
500 calories per day can actually be quite difficult to stick to, especially if you miss a day and that target gets even bigger in a bid to make up for the day you missed!
So…
Consider this…
Take your time with it!
Stop aiming for a pound a week and instead aim for a pound or two per month!
Your daily deficit then?
Around 125 - 250!
Now, if you’re a beginner, someone that has a history of “falling off the wagon” or you have an all or nothing mindset (I'll start again on Monday), this will be SO much easier to do!
And the really good news?
Without the pressure of time… It’s highly likely that you’ll actually lose more than 1 or 2 pounds a month without even realising it!
Give it a bash and let me know the results.
